  5. Share positive stories about snakes
  6. Drive carefully, watch for small animals
  7. Respect and appreciate wildlife from a distance
  8. Make adoption the first option for your next pet
  9. Don’t buy wild-caught animals or collect wildlife
  10. Say defensive or scared, not aggressive or scary
  11. Coexist or modify your yard; don’t relocate wildlife
